Automotive: After a long period of wind erosion, ASA will not be as grey as a specially treated anti-aging ABS (due to wind erosion or water flow, many micro-cracks and cavitation on the surface). The typical application of the ASA is plastic external parts such as exterior mirrors, radiator grilles, tailgates, lampshades, etc. under harsh conditions such as sunlight and rain, strong winds, and the like. At present, it is gradually extended to motorcycle panels, camping cars, small hulls, surfboards and other fields.
Horticulture: ASA proved to be particularly suitable for horticultural irrigation equipment and lawn cutter shells.
Electrical and electronic fields: Priority is given to housings for durable equipment such as: sewing machines, telephones, kitchen equipment, satellite antennas and other weatherproof housings.
Construction: ASA/PVC blends are used for roofing wall coverings and window-type materials. In this regard, there have been more than 10 years of practical experience abroad.
In the United States, because ASA has good surface quality and long-lasting color stability, it has been widely used in advanced bathroom and sanitary products, hot and cold water exchangers, etc., which indicates that ASA also has corrosion resistance to detergents and disinfectants.
