The new substitutes for NPE (Nonylphenol ethoxylate)

NPE( Nonylphenol ethoxylate) or be named  TX or NP series Surfactant  is widely used in the application of industrial  cleaning, paints, oilfield chemicals, leather, textile, and agrochemical business  usually work as wetting ,Penetrant agent, dispersing agent. But, the surfactant will degrade into nonylphenol in application process , which is considered harmful for human health and natural environment .For example ,It is an endocrine disruptor and a   toxic for aquatic organisms .along with increasing use of its substitutes make a declining trend in the demand of NPE.

The European,China, Canada, USA, etc, are the forerunners who have have been prohibit to use of NP/NPE in those country

In 2012, USA EPA published eight chemical surfactant which could effective of  NPE in all-purpose cleaners.For example ,AEO(Fatty Alcohol polyoxyethylene),LAS,AES etc .They are safer while comparable to NPE in cost and performance.

 

Now ,Our company developing and research a Natural Surfactant alternative to NPE is natural phenol Ethoxylate, main ingredient is cashew phenol ethoxylate and other natural extract graft EO, made from Natural extract (or cashew phenol) and ethylene oxide. The product’s have very good emulsification ,wetting ability,remove stain ability , the most important is the product could easily biodegradability in natural environment . It will be best substitute for NPE series product based on low cost and ecological advantages.
